Digital Art Papers

Well here is my first post for 2012, I must admit I did fall behind with posting here during December as Christmas got a hold of me with endless preperations and last minute plans for family to come and stay over during the festive period and I am sure it has been the same for a majority of us women lol. I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and wish you all a happy new year, but alas now it is time to get back to normal and start catching up again, so my fairy wand has been put away for another year.

I have a small freebie for all my readers today to start of the new year, nothing to elaborate as I ease back into the swing of it, just a small tag I made from my new art paper set. Photo Clipping Masks and More Freebies

This morning I found some time to do a little scrapping, I had this photo of my Sister in Laws 80th Birthday with 2 of her brothers which gave me the perfect opportunity to use these clipping masks which I created yesterday. The kit is also a new in store called 'Back In Time' again the subtle colours was a perfect match for this layout.

 I used one of the masks from my first set of photo masks... which have gone on sale today at
Digi Sisters, pretty cool thes photo masks, I love them, so plenty more in the pipeline.

A quick peek at my new kit in store 'Back In Time' and I even had some time to do some scrapping with it myself.  I took these photo's of my grandaughter this week. She had to do a presentation at school and the theme was my hero, Megan picked Coco Chanel as she wants to be a designer when she grows up and Coco also tied in with their project on the second world war. So round she came before school all dressed up and looking absolutely gorgous asking if I would do her hair in a french plait.

and after hair do all ready to go....

I immediately settled down to some scrap time with these, can you blame me lol

This one is my favourite....

and because i couldnt decide if i like black and white or colour I saved to versions lol...

I think this is my favourite kit so far and I am planning to do some add ons for it soon

Time To Celebrate and A Freebie

Some of you maybe aware that I was joining forces with Digi Sisters and opening up shop for the first time on the 1st of September, well I guess I am a little late in confirming all the details but I am hoping I will be forgiven as I threw myself into getting my kits uploaded and designing as much as I could to be ready to go and of course there are always the bhind the scenes stuff that needs your attention like challenges and being present in the forums.

So wow what a month September was for me and plenty to celebrate, as my first month has gone very well indeed and I have had loads of fun while being extremely busy. I really hope you will come and visit us at Digi Sisters, they are a brand new shop and becoming more popular with each new day which is fabulous to have the opportunity to welcome new faces. We have lots of great challenges that you may want to join in with.

The sad news is that most of my kits I had as freebies are now longer available, but don't worry there will be lots of  new freebies available of the coming months. The first one I would like to share with you is a quickpage created by Kristal our CT Member at Digi Sisters, she has done a awesome job with her layouts and very kindly made this freebie for you.

Three Days Of Freebies

Hi all, sorry for keeping you all waiting for the last three days but things are getting hectic around here, so much to do I wish I could just work round the clock at the moment. Well we are in the last run of this challenge and only have 6 more days left. So I would like to say a big thank you to all those who have taken the time out to leave me some kind comments and thank you's, it is very much appreciated. Day Nineteen Freebie - Vintage Heart Trinket Box

Morning everyone, I have a set of heart shaped trinket boxes for you today, I have applied three different styles for to choose from a glossy varnish look, cracked antique look and a crinkled look. I have a spelling mistake on the preview for trinket but don't have the time to go back and correct it, so just ignore that one lol, maybe if I had not mentioned you would not notice, but that's me will own up to anything! Don't you just hate it when you have completed everything zipped it all up and uploaded only to find there is a nagging tiny error, oh well that's life I guess.
